Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, supported by Mission Children’s Hospital, is seeking a pediatrician to join an engaged and passionate group of providers.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified / board eligible in pediatrics
- Clinic Based position located next to Blue Ridge Regional Hospital
- Supported by Mission Children’s, the region’s only children’s hospital
- Position includes 4-6 nights per month providing call coverage for newborn deliveries at Mission McDowell
- Newborn call coverage supported by Mission Children’s TeleNICU and Infant Transport Team
- No ER call
- Clinic Hours M-F 8AM – 5 PM
- Please note that this position does not offer visa support

Mission Children’s is the region’s only children’s hospital covering western North Carolina with 60 pediatric subspecialists in 20 different disciplines51-bed, Level-III NICU staffed by our Neonatology team
- 34 bed Mother Baby Unit
- 19 bed Pediatric Unit
- 9 Bed PICU staffed by our Pediatric Intensivist team
- Opportunity to work with MAHEC Family Medicine Residents and UNC Medical Students
- Strong MFM program and new MFM Fellowship; good relationships with OBs and MAHEC OB/GYN Residency
- An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units
- Approximately 4000 deliveries per year
- Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year
- Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55-county area
